Are your flight controls, removal, replacement and balancing part of your standard paint quote??
Yes they are! We hold a Certificate of Approval to carry out maintenance on aircraft up to 5700kgs.

Can you replace windows, interior plastics and soft interior (example: side trims, seats & carpets etc)??
We do all of this under the one roof with all of the correct approvals.

In the paint process what happens to wheels and the undercarriage??
Wheels are dismantled from tyres, stripped, painted separately, wheel bearings are then repacked and reassembled. With regards to retractable undercarriage, we would be able to prepare and paint insitu. Or if you require for your undercarriage to be removed, serviced and painted we can also carry out this process.

What about my cracked fibreglass exterior parts??
We can either repair or depending on severity organise replacement of these parts.

What about reweigh of my aircraft??
Under CASA requirements all aircraft have to be reweighed once painted. We can quote and facilitate this procedure.

What can I do to protect my aircraft against corrosion??
We recommend using Corrosion X this is an effective treatment.

What Industry Standards do we adhere to ??
Flinders Aviation's holds a Civil Aviation Safety Authority - Certificate of Approval No 3183 for all aspects of aircraft maintenance refurbishment and repair further more all products from the paint stripping to application of the paint and final washing of aircraft prior to delivery,all products are approved for use on aircraft.
